Liability Insurance

Will members please note that the Club’s Insurers require the Club to advise them immediately following any incidents in which they may have an interest, particularly accidents involving personal injury.

To comply with these requirements, any Member who is involved in an incident whilst angling or on any fishery must immediately report the circumstances to the Club Secretary.

Duty Of Care – Description

To take reasonable care to avoid acts or omissions, which you can reasonably foresee, which would be likely to injure your neighbour.

This applies equally to members of the public as well as fishery managers and angling organisations and the duty specified are to take reasonable care.

DO NOT DIG THE BANK

Under no circumstances is the bank to be dug as this would be in direct contravention of the Club’s Licence to fish.

Do not fish in areas restricted by notices erected by Cotswold Canal Trust, Stroud Valley Canal Company or any other agency.
